Gargnano, Lake Garda, Italy
Seemingly suspended between water and sky, the luxurious spa hotel gazes out over majestic Lake Garda Excellent cuisine, service and the vita bella on the Riviera dei Limoni, guests enjoy a complete experience to enrich their lives
The first five-star establishment on the lake, the LeFay estate sits above Gargnano on the Riviera dei Limoni amid woods, olive groves and of course, lemons. From its hillside eminence, every suite and terrace gazes out over Lake Garda, framed by mountains and mist, the boundaries between pool, lake and sky all blending together.
The airy open suites are very spacious and open up by floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors onto decking, bringing in the view of lawn, woodland, lake and sky. Neutral tones are used throughout with very high-quality finishes in olive wood and Italian walnut, marble from Carrara and lovely natural linens. These beautiful spaces are enhanced by advanced technologies in individual bio air-conditioning, lighting, connectivity and entertainment. Certain suites can be connected and there are private pools and in-room spas to cater for different party sizes and needs.
The LeFay Spa is the heart of the property and their method, blending classical Chinese techniques with western science, forms the basis of an extensive range of treatments. They have created everything from a range of certified toiletries and cosmetics, signature massages and wellness, a la carte Ayurveda, thalassotherapy & hair SPA to non-invasive aesthetic medicine and medical treatments, osteopathy and physiotherapy.
When not spa-ing, the breath-taking views are backdrop to wonderful lunches at La Vigna where traditional trattoria-style flavours have a perfect sense of place. Days are spent visiting the markets of the picturesque lakeside towns or exploring the lake in LeFay’s custom speedboat. The evening brings cocktails at the piano bar and the chef’s exquisite creations in La Grande Limonaia, overlooking the mirror-like lake. One way or another, guests are guaranteed to leave LeFay feeling a whole lot better.
